Phase two launch of SNAS/DHL Middle East time definite products roll out across region

As of February 1st, KSA, UAE, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan have all launched SNAS/DHL's portfolio of time definite products. With this time efficient service available for clients, SNAS/DHL Middle East takes another significant move to add to its range of express logistics solutions.

Launched to customers to control their shipment schedules, both inbound and outbound, the new product portfolio also guarantees express and logistics needs are met effectively, cost efficiently and ensures shipment size flexibility.

Following on from the successful launch of SNAS/DHL's time definite products in Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan and Yemen in January this year, SNAS/DHL Middle East, the region's leading express logistics provider, today launched its portfolio in a further eight countries to provide a complete enhanced regional service.

Speaking at the launch, Phil Couchman, SNAS/DHL Middle East Managing Director, said:

'The innovation of our range of products means that our customers will have more choice and ultimately more control of their shipment needs. We recognise that every business runs to different deadlines and has different needs; that is why our new product portfolio is based on a logical system of time definite and day definite choices. In simple terms the choice of delivery time, and price, rests with our customers.'

The Deutsche Post World Net (DPWN) subsidiary, is currently putting this service into operation as part of a larger frame plan in 2006 to offer new services in line with the region's fast and continuous growth.

'The second phase of the launch comes after the successful launch in several countries early this year. Offering the variety of choice and extra control to our customers in the remaining countries will provide a regional solution for meeting business needs in the most reliable manner,' Couchman, added.

The new family of products, now available to all SNAS/DHL clients in the region, sets the focus on time as a defining element with the clear aim of serving the customer's requirements, allowing clients to better manage their own resources.

SNAS/DHL provided the new portfolio due to an increasing need of customers to have more choice of transit times; from a pre 9AM or pre noon delivery service and next day express, to second day delivery and express freight for heavyweight shipments.

'Following on from the launch in Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan and Yemen, we foresee the regional launch as being a huge success,' said Couchman, adding: 'Starting today, we are delighted to rollout our reliable one call service to the whole Middle East region for the benefit of our valued clients.'
