Mr Tobell misses the fact that Hermes success exists on the backs of couriers that haven’t seen a pay rise if 15 years plus and that while the parcels are delivered to courier’s homes, there is no opportunity from Hermes for the couriers to join a union and no publicity of such a thing, and those 7,500+ couriers have very limited availability to communicate with each other enough to get an effective enough one going. If we did have easy access to such things you can be we’d be striking alongside Royal Mail!
