Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for driving programme and product performance in one of our client’s three customer segments and working with the Marketing team to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
Our international client is one of the world leaders in providing mailing solutions, technology and logistics systems. Due to the continual expansion of their business and product range, they are seeking to recruit an experienced Marketing Manager to assist in the further development of their market share within the UK. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for driving programme and product performance in one of our client’s three customer segments and working with the Marketing team to achieve business objectives. You will manage a team of Product Marketing Managers to ensure delivery of team results, whilst working closely with Field Sales management to drive channel performance. You will support the development of the annual strategic marketing plan and budget by incorporating business plans and growth objectives. Marketing Manager will have to:
- Development annual and quarterly programmes based on industry events, new product launches and vertical market initiatives
- Be responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual product line performance targets
- Propose and get agreement on product and service pricing for the channel
- Drive commercial product launch within the Field Sales channel in the UK
- Work with Sales teams to ensure that products and services are understood and are properly positioned in the market
- Work with Marketing Communications to ensure that sales teams have the tools they require
- Develop new ideas, products and applications to drive product line performance
- Maintain competitive knowledge on product positioning and pricing
Requirements
The successful Marketing Manager, will:
- Have an established track record of B2B marketing experience.
- Relish spending time in the market to understand their customers and industry.
- Be able to adapt to change, find innovative solutions to business challenges, combined with entrepreneurial experience and skills.
- Possess a blend of business thinking and commercial acumen and the drive to make projects happen.
- Be a strong communicator, able to influence internal and external stake holders
