Fashion retailer to run returns through CollectPlus network

UK fashion retailer Fenn Wright Manson has signed up to provide its return services through the parcel shop network CollectPlus. The companies said it would mean customers of the occasion wear brand having access to 5,000 convenience stores nationwide, at which they will be able to drop off products for return without charge.

CollectPlus is a joint venture of parcel carrier Yodel and payments firm PayPoint, run by convenience store and filling station operators.

The firms said the early opening and late closing hours for the CollectPlus outlets would mean convenient drop-offs, with parcels then tracked every step of the way.

CollectPlus states that its outlets are within a mile of 85% of the British population, and that three quarters of UK online shoppers are unwilling to travel more than five miles to deal with their parcels.

Mark Lewis, CEO of CollectPlus, said partnering with the retailer meant offering its customers “even greater value and choice”, with a free returns service that “fits in with their busy lives”.

“Fenn Wright Manson chose CollectPlus as a result of the ease and flexibility of the additional touch points that we provide and we’re looking to forward to working closely with them to develop our relationship,” he said.

Faye Bishop, Head of Online at Fenn Wright Manson, added: “We’re delighted to be working with CollectPlus, which ensures that shopping with us remains an effortless experience for our customers. As creators of stylish clothes, with modern and sophisticated designs, CollectPlus’ innovative service complements our philosophy wonderfully well. Not only will our customers benefit from free returns but they will also have complete peace of mind as CollectPlus parcels are fully tracked.”
