German company brings KePol lockers to Mallorca’s beaches

YOURSAFE24 is the name of the start-up in Saxony, which intends to revolutionise security in public places. And a cooperation between YOURSAFE24 and KEBA now means that an everyday worry of holidaymakers is a thing of the past. This is because “YourSafe” lockers have recently been installed at several beaches on Mallorca and are protecting the valuables of sun-hungry tourists in keyless box systems from Linz. Everyone knows the problem caused by time spent on the beach. What is to be done with the smart phone, the car keys, the wallet or the expensive sunglasses when one wants to go swimming? Happily a cure for this headache can now be found on Mallorca in the district of Calvía, which incidentally is the most affluent in Spain, following the installation of the first revolutionary “Your Safe” security lockers.

The outdoor lockers being used on the Santa Ponça, Peguara, Magaluf and Palmanova beach promenades come from the Austrian specialist KEBA, more generally used for postal and logistics applications.

Safekeeping with payment directly at the automat 

For a fee of three euros per day, one can select and rent a box (depending on the locations there are five various sizes between XS and XL), and then enter a personal numerical code. The lockers are fitted with small boxes for personal valuables and large ones for whole bags and payment is settled directly at the locker.

All the “YourSafe” lockers already installed are linked to the company headquarters in Germany, which means that permanent, remote surveillance is guaranteed.

Additional applications

YOURSAFE24 plans to install its fully automatic safe systems in other districts and countries and also expand their range of applications. For example, camping sites, nightclubs, hospitals, city centres and hotels.
