Asendia USA partners with e-commerce shipping software firm ShipStation

International mail firm Asendia USA has formed a partnership with shipping software firm ShipStation to simplify the international parcel shipping process for e-commerce merchants. Asendia, the international mail joint venture between Swiss Post and La Poste Group, said the partnership with ShipStation would allow e-commerce retailers to take advantage of “deeply discounted” international shipping services with the US Postal Service and other postal administrations, while using ShipStation’s processing system to prepare and print shipping labels.

Texas-based ShipStation has been providing shipping software for e-commerce since 2011, offering automatic order importing from 50 different online marketplaces, including eBay and Amazon.

Asendia said ShipStation users using its services would now benefit from a cleaner label, package visibility and the ability to have customs data automatically uploaded.

The company claimed the solution would “significantly” shorten the implementation time for customers to get their products exported.

Options

Curtis Mitchell, ShipStation’s Director of Business Development, said: “By adding Asendia USA to the mix of international shipping choices, ShipStation users will now have an even greater blend of options to offer their international customers.

“We are thrilled to have Asendia USA integrated as an expert international shipping partner and believe ShipStation users will be excited about this integration as well.”

Asendia USA offres fully-landed costs for international e-commerce shipments, returns management and multicurrency transactions.

The company is a trusted USPS Postal Qualified Wholesaler, and one of the largest USPS postal consolidators.

Asendia USA’s Senior VP of Business Development, Mark Feinstein, said: “I am very enthusiastic about Asendia USA’s partnership with ShipStation and the advantages it will bring to ShipStation customers. By working closely with ShipStation, we have the ability to quickly on-board customers and ultimately offer them services and discounts that will help them grow their international business.”
