Europa maximises growth in Germany

Europa Road – a division of independent logistics operator, Europa Worldwide Group, has announced that it has invested in a new direct daily service (five times per week) to and from the UK and Stuttgart. This additional service comes after the launch of a successful route to Frankfurt, introduced last summer, which has grown quickly in response to the development of the German market, the strongest in Europe.  Stuttgart specifically is one of the highest performing economic regions in the country.

Europa’s investment maximises its existing and predicted growth in Germany, as well as adding to its current daily Frankfurt and long-established Dusseldorf services.   Europa currently has an extensive offer of weekly services to other parts of Germany which it plans to develop further in the near future.

Europa has launched the Stuttgart service in conjunction with existing partner, Swiss operator Panalpina.   The route will be serviced with double-manned trucks operating to and from Erith and Birmingham.

Dan Cook, Operations Director, Europa Road comments; “We identified Stuttgart as a key growth area within Germany.  The Stuttgart region ranks among the most important economic locations attracting international companies as well as being Germany´s leading export region.

“This is the first of a number of new and improved road services Europa will develop throughout the year.  We see there is a massive opportunity to become a leading operator on the German market, with huge potential for further expansion.

“This investment demonstrates our commitment to boost our already extensive range of European road freight services. With this enhanced offering, we provide an even better quality and more frequent service for our customers.  A daily service ensures a far more reliable offering to our customers.”
