Australia Post app allows customers to watch out for their parcel deliveries

Australia Post has launched an app which will allow customers to track their parcels and view delivery information on the newly-launched Apple Watch. Customers will also be able to use their mobile devices to open parcel lockers by scanning their watch.

“The new Apple Watch app is the latest in a series of digital innovations Australia Post has been working on to provide easy to use experiences for customers who want greater flexibility in managing delivery services,” said Andrew Walduck, Executive General Manager – Information, Digital & Technology at Australia Post.

The app syncs back to customers’ MyPost accounts, offering convenient and secure parcel collection options including up to 3,500 post offices and over 200 24/7 secure parcel locker locations.

Via their accounts, customers can track, schedule or redirect many of their deliveries and receive free notifications when they have something to collect.

A video preview of the new app is available at www.auspost.com.au/applewatch.
