Alibaba has reportedly made arrangements with Allcargo Logistics’ subsidiary ECU Line to ship less-than-container load (LCL) consignments to India. India’s Economic Times said that Allcargo’s founder and chairman Shashi Kiran Shetty revealed details about the tie-up in an interview with newspaper.

The arrangement will mean faster deliveries for the Chinese e-commerce retailer’s customers in India.

Shetty reportedly said that ECU Line will be handling “quite substantial” volumes, but declined to give numbers.
