FedEx speeds up express outbound service in seven Chinese cities

FedEx has announced that it has improved its international outbound express services covering FedEx International Priority and FedEx International Priority Freight in seven Chinese cities: Dalian, Yantai, Weihai, Jinan, Zibo, Zhengzhou and Chongqing. “The transit time for shipments from these cities to America, Europe and other parts of the world will be reduced by one to two business days, helping customers optimize their supply chains and strengthen their competitive edges in their target markets,” according to a statement issued by FedEx today (20 July).

“China is one of the world’s most important economies in the current global business climate, and I’m delighted that FedEx is able to help enhance the connectivity enjoyed by these cities,” said Dr. Karen Reddington, president, Asia Pacific, FedEx Express.

“Our numerous Chinese SME customers are expected to benefit in particular, and this service enhancement underscores FedEx determination to help small companies with big ideas and aspirations in their quest to go global.”
