GLS and Israel Post announce partnership

The GLS Group and Israel Post have announced that they are working together on a new initiative which enables business packages sent from customers in Israel to be delivered to destinations across Europe. According to a statement issued by GLS today (29 July), the companies started working together in May and have been focusing initially on the B2B sector.

Through the new arrangement, packages despatched from Israel arrive in Frankfurt and are sent to the GLS European hub in Neuenstein. Most shipments will clear customs on the same day and will be fed into the GLS network, for delivery to their final destination.

The next phase of the cooperation between the two companies will include the delivery of GLS parcels from Europe to Israel.
