UPS Freight opens new Chicago-area facility

UPS Freight has announced the addition of a new facility in Franklin Park. The 28,000 square-foot building at 11201 Irving Park Road features 66 docks for the loading and unloading of less-than-truckload (LTL) freight.

The Franklin Park location complements nearby UPS Freight centers in Aurora, Chicago, Palatine and South Holland.

“Business growth in the greater Chicago area has driven demand for UPS Freight’s capabilities,” said Kevin Hartman, President of UPS Freight’s Central Region.
