DHL Express USA orders 45 all-electric trucks

DHL Express USA has order 45 all-electric delivery trucks from Zenith Motors. The Zenith delivery vehicles are powered by the UQM PowerPhase Pro 135 propulsion systems.

DHL has invested nearly $50 million in its fleet over the past two years, reducing the average vehicle age from 6.7 years in 2012 to 3.6 years today.

The new order with Zenith is part of DHL’s clean vehicle initiative, through which the company wants to make its fleet “one of the newest and most modern in the industry”.
