Bicycle courier firm starts up in Kuala Lumpur

Start-up company Vélo Express KL has launched a bicycle courier and delivery service in Kuala Lumpur. Company founders Jordi Arif bin Rahman, M.Farid Rahmat and Aedewan Adnan and their team of cyclists started operations in September and claim to offer the first bicycle messenger service in the KL metro area.

The company’s core coverage is in the city centre, Ampang, Bangsar and Cheras, although deliveries can be made outside these areas for an extra charge.

According to the Vélo Express KL website, prices start at RM8 for a one-drop-off delivery within the core city zones.

The company’s core hours are from 9am to 7pm on weekdays. Deliveries on weekends or holidays may be available on request.
