DHL installs Packstation parcel lockers in Vienna

DHL has started the roll-out of its Packstation parcel locker network in Austria, with the installation of the first facility in Vienna. According to local sources, the first Packstation site is in the Florisdorf district, in the northern part of Austria’s capital city.

DHL’s  Günter Birnstingl reportedly told local sources that the company plans to install 25 Packstation facilities in Vienna, and in the long-term aims to have hundreds more across Austria.

DHL does, of course, already have an extensive Packstation network in Germany.
