Parcel Monkey unveils end-to-end platform with cloud fulfilment service

E-commerce parcel broker Parcel Monkey has relaunched and rebranded its cloud fulfilment service. As part of the transformation, Parcel Monkey has developed its own warehouse management system which is also available as a SAAS product to other warehouse/fulfilment services.

The new Cloud Fulfilment UK Ltd service provides an end-to-end e-commerce platform which, according to Parcel Monkey, uses the latest technology including new Apple iTouch scanning devices.

Parcel Monkey’s Managing Director Nav Ramiah said: “Fulfilment is a complex issue but we have now created a simple solution which everyone understands. This is a really exciting time for the company, there is no other system like it available.

“Our original Cloud Fulfilment service has been operating for two years but we found we were faced with many challenges with suppliers because we were not using our own WMS (Warehouse Management System) and we had to integrate into other software. This put us in a really risky position which we weren’t comfortable with. Now that has all changed.”

According to Parcel Monkey, Cloud Fulfilment allows customers to be connected to virtually any e-commerce platform or sales channel. A virtual warehouse allows businesses to ship products directly for storage, and every time a sale is made Cloud Fulfilment can automatically pick, pack and dispatch it to the customer.

“Every customer will now get their own unique log in allowing them to see where their stock is at any one time,” claimed Parcel Monkey. “This provides customers with total control and complete visibility.”

Ramiah also said that Parcel Monkey’s partnership with P2P Mailing will give the company “an international presence”.

Malcolm Barrell – Chief Operating Officer, of P2P Mailing, added: “This is a great partnership with both parties complementing one another and together delivering an offering which will be for the benefit of both parties as well as the customer, which in turn will allow Cloud Fulfilment to grow and flourish.”
