Free bike servicing for India’s Roadrunnr delivery boys

Indian on-demand delivery specialist Roadrunnr has tied up with LiveBiking to offer free bike servicing for their delivery boys. In a statement sent to Post&Parcel today (7 January), Roadrunnr said that coupons will be given to their top 200 Roadrunnrs to service their bikes at any of LiveBiking’s service outlets once a month.

Vivek Poddar, Operations Manager, Roadrunnr, commented: “We are delighted to offer this service to our runnrs to help them maintain their bikes which is perhaps their most important asset. Regular servicing ensures protection and maintenance of their bikes and we’re happy to take an initiative to help them do that.”

The initiative has started with Bengaluru and will be extended to Roadrunnrs across other cities soon.

Livebiking offers maintenance services for two wheelers and has over 200 service centres across Bengaluru.

Founded last year by Mohit Kumar and Arpit Dave who worked together at Flipkart, Roadrunnr works with more than 5,000 merchants across India including restaurants, food aggregators and other categories like pharmacies, laundries and florists.

The company is currently operating in 11 cities and makes more than 35,000 deliveries per day.

Roadrunnr offers same day deliveries and uses drivers on bikes, eco-bikes, cyclists and walkers to make deliveries.
