UPS Taiwan announces service enhancements

UPS has enhanced its services in the central and southern areas of Taiwan’s Changhua County. “The rise in demand for the Internet of Things (IoT), smart devices and drones have significantly contributed to the US$335.2bn semiconductor industry in 2015,” said Wayne Pi, Managing Director of UPS Taiwan.

“As a major contributor to the global semiconductor manufacturing market, Taiwan stands to benefit from the industry growth that is forecasted to reach almost US$564 billion by the end of 2019.

“Focusing on operational optimization will help Taiwanese businesses overcome the challenges of today. With UPS’s latest service enhancements, customers benefit from improved connectivity and greater flexibility, which are critical for success.”

UPS said that the “flexibility and convenience” of twice a day pickups will equip Taiwanese businesses to tackle the demands of customers, while continuing to improve service levels.
