Swiss Post outlines apprenticeship plans

Swiss Post has announced that, over the coming year, it will be offering more than 750 apprenticeship openings in the fields of logistics, retail trade, commercial occupations and maintenance as well as a practically-oriented bachelor’s degree in IT. In a statement issued today, Swiss Post said that 687 apprentices successfully completed their training at Swiss Post this summer and, over the coming days, more than 800 apprentices will begin their vocational training throughout Switzerland with a “Jump-in” week.

“At more than ten different locations throughout Switzerland,” said Swiss Post, “the apprentices acquire basic knowledge about Swiss Post through workshops and a number of different courses while getting to know each other during sports activities and games.”

In addition, 10 students will join Swiss Post to start their practice-integrated Bachelor’s degree course (PiBS) organized by Swiss Post in cooperation with the Swiss Distance University of Applied Sciences (FFHS).
