Tuffnells announces new European delivery partnership

Tuffnells Parcels Express has informed Post&Parcel that it is now the sole UK partner of NetExpress Europe. This strategic partnership, which launched on 2 November, means Tuffnells can now offer a significantly expanded and improved product portfolio through the NetExpress Europe system.

According to the company: “This makes Tufnells a truly comprehensive one-stop shop – with an extensive array of both domestic and international delivery options available to existing and new customers who trade on the Continent. It also vastly increases Tuffnells international delivery capabilities with membership of this network giving them a much stronger and more robust European presence.

“Practical day-to-day customer benefits include increased visibility through integrated Track and Trace IT systems – so deliveries made by any partner company can be viewed at any point door to door, not just when the delivery is signed for.”

Chris Tresadern, Tuffnells Sales and Commercial Director, commented: “Everyone who likes what we do locally will like this expansion of our service too. They’ll get the same level of Tuffnells service they’ve come to expect – and they’ll still be dealing with the same driver and using the same despatch IT etc. But now they have so many more delivery options to help them maximise their business opportunities in Europe. And for new customers, this is just the perfect time to get on-board and start using a delivery company who can honestly claim to be a real one-stop shop.”

The NetExpress Europe network covers 36 EU and EFTA countries, with a fleet of over 23,500 vehicles making over 100,000,000 shipments via 820 depots and 27 strategically placed hubs.
