Pitney Bowes grows national network of presort services operating centres

Pitney Bowes has acquired the assets of ProSORT, a Microdynamics company and mailing solutions provider in Naperville, Illinois. Pitney Bowes has combined its operation in Des Plaines, Illinois, into the newer and larger Naperville facility.

Debbie Pfeiffer, President, Pitney Bowes Presort Services, said: “Market expansion remains a strategic objective for Pitney Bowes Presort Services. It is one of the ways we have continued to grow mail volumes year-after-year despite significant changes in the industry. This acquisition creates new client relationships for Pitney Bowes and strengthens the network of operating centers that our new and existing clients depend on.”

Pfeiffer continued: “As we expand our national network and grow mail volumes, we’re also expanding the services we provide.

“For example, we’re helping our direct mail clients derive more value from their physical mail pieces by optimizing their messages and offerings for digital channels. And in select markets, we are beginning to offer parcel mailing solutions based on our years of innovation and expertise in mail sortation.”
