New Chairperson for Eesti Post

The Supervisory Board of Eesti Post has appointed Joona Saluveer as the new chairperson of the management board. Saluveer will take up his new role on 1 May, on a five-year contract.

Merike Saksa, Chair of the Supervisory Board of Eesti Post, said that the company was grateful to Aavo Kärmas, the current chairperson of the management board, for his contribution.

“Under his leadership,” said Saksa, “Eesti Post became a strong international company whose potential can be fulfilled by the new chairperson.”

Kärmas’s contract expires on 30 April.

Joona Saluveer has been the head of Omniva’s Latvian business unit since 2012. He previously worked in Lithuania as the head of various Estonian enterprises, including Prike and Stokker.
