GLS Germany rolling out eBikes to five more cities

GLS has reported that, following a successful test programme in Constance, it will be rolling out its eBike delivery service to five more Germany cities. GLS introduced eBikes in Nuremberg, Dusseldorf and Dortmund this month. It will extend service to include Darmstadt and then Hamburg later this year.

Martin Seidenberg, CEO of GLS Germany, said that the company is starting off with ten more eBikes but it plans to “increase significantly in the medium term”.

GLS started delivering with eBikes in Constance in August 2016.
