Plugging into the fuel cell future

Amazon has acquired the right to buy up to 23% of the hydrogen fuel cell maker Plug Power – and has also agreed to use the company’s technology to power forklift trucks in some of its warehouses. According to a report published this week by Reuters, Amazon will equip forklifts at 11 warehouses this year with hydrogen fuel cells.
