Global plans for YTO

Global plans for YTO

YTO brought together 40+ industry players from Asia, Europe and the Americas to Yiwu in China over the past few days to discuss how they can work together to form a Global Parcel Alliance. As previously reported by Post&Parcel, the Summit took place at Yiwu’s Happy Lake International Conference Center and was supported by Post&Parcel’s publisher, Triangle.

While this event has helped to raise YTO’s global profile, the Chinese delivery company has also reportedly been bolstering its international ambitions with plans to buy more B757 cargo planes from a number of sources.

There are also reports that YTO plans to push forward its international expansion programme through Hong Kong, following its recent purchase of a majority stake in On Time Logistics, which is listed in the city.
