Whistl invests in e-fulfilment specialist Prism DM

Whistl has announced that it has made an investment in Prism DM, as part of its strategy to grow in to the e-fulfilment market. Prism DM has facilities in Farnborough and Rushden and its clients include Long Tall Sally, Oliver Sweeney, Brand Alley, Warner Brothers Studios, Le Chameau, National Trust, Sport Pursuit,and Emma’s Diary.

As part of the deal Lieneke Happel will become the new Managing Director of Prism and will work with Rashpal Gill and the Prism team.

Mike Thom, Founder Director of Prism will stay with the business on a part time basis for the next two years to help with its strategic development.

Nick Wells, CEO Whistl UK Ltd, commented: “The move into e-fulfilment is a natural progression for the company and extends our offering in the supply chain.

“The 180 Prism staff will continue to provide excellent service, expertise and know-how to the business and with our size and scale we hope to maximise its potential in the future.”

Prism’s Thom added: “I have every confidence that this investment by Whistl will accelerate the business to the next level, whilst maintaining the core service values we have developed over many years.”
