In 2010 India Post have confirmed their involvement as the host for the event and will be supporting PosTech extensively with a view to making it the best in the series. Radikha Doraiswamy, secretary and director general of India Post, said: “PosTech is an event that addresses issues and opportunities at the heart of the future of the postal business worldwide. We attended the 2008 event in Egypt and saw for ourselves the scale and quality of PosTech in terms of the delegates and speakers who attended, and the support the event had from high-profile national and international institutions.” She continued “Given the great potential of India and our aggressive plans for future growth, particularly in the postal related technology sector, we see this as a fantastic opportunity to welcome the world to India and for them to experience a world class conference and the hospitality and business potential of India”.

The PosTech event features a two day high level conference with an accompanying supplier showcase exhibition. Given the number and quality of the delegates attending, the show is also renowned for the extensive networking opportunities it offers, and many high value deals were initiated in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Triangle is working closely with India Post to finalise the detailed programme for the event, which will be announced shortly.

The 2010 conference covered key issues including the development of direct mail, environmental issues, distribution technology, new offerings in express, the b2c market and regulation, under the overall theme of A New Dawn or the Morning After.

With over 300 delegates from the UK post and parcels industry, MEDS 2010 was rated by attendees as a big success, and the event in 2011 is targeted to be bigger and better!

MEDS 2011 will be held in London on 7th April 2011. The programme for the event is currently being developed and will be announced first here.
