Its sometimes easy to overlook the importance of addressing – crucial for emergency services, for urban planning, for communication networks, and of course for those concerned with delivering post and parcels. And yet, across the world, there is no commonality of address systems, and in many countries those that do exist are unfit for purpose. People within the industry are pushing for a common project on postal data – to comment on their views and activities, join the postal addressing group.
