BBH selected in ‘Training’ list
BÖWE BELL + HOWELL (BBH) has earned a spot on Training magazine’s Top 125 list of training and development programmes for the ninth year in succession. Training magazine is the primary business publication for learning and development professionals.
“This recognition underscores our commitment to training and education, and we continue to make significant investments in these areas to ensure we’re providing the best possible support for our customers,” said John Tarascio, BBH chief operating officer. “Many of our instructors have worked in production mail environments and bring real-world insights into the classroom. This helps our associates quickly identify problems and recommend proper solutions, and that’s a real advantage for the customers we serve.”
“The BBH University curriculum includes extensive training not only for associates, but our customers as well. Our goal for customer training is to provide them with the skills and expertise to enable them to achieve the expected and optimal levels of performance from their BBH solutions,” said Lana Chandra, BBH executive director of Organisational Development and BBH University. “We’ve integrated more e-learning and blended learning into our traditional instructor-led curricula to support our long-term on-demand learning strategy, and we continue to review and evaluate programs to ensure we meet the changing needs of all our clients.”
The Training Top 125 ranking is based on myriad benchmarking statistics such as total training budget; percentage of payroll; number of training hours per employee program; goals, evaluation, measurement and workplace surveys; hours of training per employee annually; and detailed formal programs. The ranking is determined by assessing a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, the scope of development programmes, and how closely such development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives.
