TNT Express goes mobile with tracking solution app

TNT Express has launched a free mobile tracking application for a variety of smartphones. The application is available for download on iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices. It allows customers around the world to track their international consignments at all times via their phones.

It is the same tracking information as the customers receive from the standard tracking service offered by the TNT official website.

Mark Woodcock, sales and marketing director for the Middle East, TNT Express, said: “The smartphone market has expanded dramatically in the last three years and it has become imperative to provide customers with value added services on this platform.

“With this introduction, we give our customers complete visibility and ease of tracking their shipments, day or night.”

Customers can download the free apps from the Application Stores by Apple (iPhone), Google (Android), Microsoft (Windows Mobile) and RIM (BlackBerry).

“A further version has already been planned with added features to the mobile service, including price quotes, and the option to arrange or re-arrange deliveries,” added Woodcock.
