DHL in the Czech Republic
DHL, multinational courier and logistics firm, generates a turnover of CEK 4 bil per year in the Czech Republic. The firm has 72 branches in the Czech Republic, where its firm DHL International CR (Czech Republic) operates, at the beginning of 2004. The number of the branches will be optimized gradually. DHL, which supplies parcels to 229 countries, has about 170,000 employees in the world. Deutsche Post World Net (Germany) completed the first stage of the integration of DHL, Danzas and the group Deutsche Post Espress under the united name DHL at the beginning of 2004.
