Deadline extended for 2019 World Post & Parcel Awards

Due to a flurry of new entries, the deadline for applications to be submitted for the 2019 World Post & Parcel Awards, has been extended to Friday 8th March.

Regarded as the “Oscars” of the Mail & Express industry,  each year some of the greatest delivery brands from across the globe come together to celebrate industry successes, best practice and innovation at the World Post & Parcel Awards.

In 2019 the ceremony will take place on 18 June at Croke Park – the headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association – in Dublin, Ireland. This year there are two new categories to apply for – the Startup Award and the Philatelic Campaign of the Year, opening up the field to more achievements in the sector.

With the Industry Leadership nominations closed there are still nine awards you can apply for: corporate social responsibility, cross border growth, philatelic campaign of the year, customer service, postal e-commerce, innovation, delivery on demand, the startup award and technology.

You can apply for a maximum of two categories with the same product or service. Applications will be reviewed by a prestigious panel of judges comprising Universal Postal Union (UPU) members, international postal industry leaders and users. A shortlist will be announced by mid April.

Last years winners included Canada Post who won the Delivery on Demand Award, SingPost who won the technology category and this year’s host An Post who won the Retail Customer Access award.

Mrs. Nada Genadry , HR Director at LibanPost explains the significance of winning the CSR category for its Female Letter Carriers on the roads scheme at last year’s event.  “Recognition boosts the morale especially when it comes from an international post & parcel authority. The award attribution was relayed to everyone in the company, is now part of our signature and has been conveyed by the national press as well.”

If you need help completing the entry form or have any questions about the Awards, please contact a member of the team at [email protected] or call +44 (0)1628 642910.
