Panther Warehousing offers customers more flexibility

Northampton-based Panther Warehousing has launched a new premium delivery service to make its two-man, white-glove, next-day delivery service even more responsive to consumers’ needs.

The company – which introduced the concept of next-day delivery into the specialist, white-glove sector – is now offering premium pre-10am and post-6pm services.

Colin McCarthy, Panther’s Chief Executive said: “Our new early morning and evening services are an exciting proposition for both our clients and their customers.

“Panther clients will gain a competitive advantage by being able to offer their customers greater flexibility when it comes to arranging delivery.

“People lead busy lives and want to fit deliveries around them – our new services give them greater choice and more control over when goods arrive and depending on whether they choose the morning or evening slot means they have to take little or no time off work.

“From the outset Panther has set out to design services to fit around the end customer. We aim to make delivery as convenient and stress-free as possible.”

Panther already delivers seven days a week, with cut off times as late as 10pm for delivery the next day and aims to make delivery as convenient as possible by advising consumers of a two-hour delivery slot so that they do not have to hang about all day.

The new premium service enables consumers to guarantee an early or a late delivery, enabling them to avoid taking a day off work to receive their goods.

Initially trialled in August, the new service is a continuation of the ethos which has made Panther into one of the fastest-growing SMEs in Europe.

For those who prefer to plan ahead the company also offers a “day-of-choice” service that can be booked in advance to make life easier for people to fit deliveries into their time off work or to arrange for furniture to arrive once a room has been refurbished.
