ABM Security Services Awarded Contract with the United States Postal Service
Security Services, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM), has been awarded a multi-year, multi-million dollar national contract with the Unites States Postal Service. The contract covers security guard services for more than 60 postal service facilities located in 20 states across the country and includes more that 300 security personnel.

Today, the U.S. Postal Service fuels the nation’s economy and delivers 202 billion pieces of mail per year to over 141 million homes, businesses and Post Office boxes. Each of the 300,000 mail carriers delivers about 2,300 pieces of mail a day to about 500 addresses. With annual revenues of $68.5 billion and over 729,000 employees nationwide, the U.S. Postal Service serves seven million customers daily at more that 37,500 postal retail outlets.
