Jet Mail Services to compete in the e-commerce fulfilment sector

Jet Mail Services, a division of IBC (International Bonded Couriers), has purchased the assets of Great Lakes Fulfillment Services located in Lewiston, Maine.

This acquisition will position Jet Mail to strongly compete in the e-commerce fulfilment sector. The business will remain as a stand-alone business and a 100% owned subsidiary of Jet Mail doing business in its current location in Lewiston, ME.

IBC says: “We are excited to be diversifying and expanding into such a growth segment in our economy and offering e-commerce fulfilment solutions on a larger scale using the best technologies available.

“There are many synergies between our companies and all of the leadership and employees will remain in place.  GLF was established in 2002 with Kurt Ellis as the President of the Company. Kurt has agreed to stay with the Company in his leadership position and they have a great staff of long term dedicated employees with a similar culture as to what we have developed at Jet Mail and IBC. We will be working together to get additional customers and offerings that will benefit all of our affiliated companies long term.

“GLF has a loyal customer base with a strong history of repeat business. The company focuses on managing fulfillment services to a diverse client base. GLF also offers a wide range of kitting and packaging assembling solutions.

“GLF prides itself on unsurpassed customer service with reasonable pricing. With over 1,000,000 packages shipped annually, GLF has the expertise and technology to get the correct product to the end user quickly and economically.”

As of August 1, 2019 all employees of GLF are now part of the overall Jet Mail/IBC Team.
