The Delivery Group invests £8 million in its newest hub

E-commerce, mail and pallet specialist The Delivery Group has opened a 52,500 square foot processing hub in Bristol.

Steve Stokes, CEO, The Delivery Group comments: “Our aim is to deliver exceptional value and service to clients throughout the UK, and Bristol represents the best strategic fit for our network. The Bristol hub complements our existing sites in Warrington, Luton, Kent, Derby and Central London, giving us a very strong geographic footprint across the country and enabling us to expertly handle over 1 billion items.

“The e-commerce marketplace continues to grow at a rapid rate and there is a real demand for expert logistical support to ensure goods arrive at the desired time in the best possible condition. Our continued growth is testament to the fact that our people know the market inside out, which enables us to offer cost-effective solutions tailored to today’s delivery challenges.”

The Bristol hub follows The Delivery Group’s opening of its new Maidstone site in March and the company’s acquisition of ONEPOST. Bristol adds a further 30% capacity to the company’s network. The site will process and sort mail using the very latest letter and packet sortation machines, ready for delivery into Royal Mail processing points across the South, South West and Midlands.
