Foreign joint ventures allowed in Vietnam postal services

100percent foreign-owned businesses are not yet allowed to engage in local and international mail delivery services. According to Government Decree 157/2004 giving guidelines to implement the Ordinance on Post and Telecommunications, foreign-invested joint ventures (JVs) will be allowed to operate international mail delivery service with the condition that the capital contribution ratio of the foreign party is determined by the Government.
