LaserShip expands capacity in New Jersey
LaserShip, the US regional e-commerce parcel carrier, is opening its newest sort centre in South Brunswick, New Jersey this month to meet growing e-commerce delivery demand in the region.
“With the constant evolution in the e-commerce space, our team at LaserShip is always looking for new opportunities to ensure the best service for our customers,” said Josh Dinneen, Senior Vice President of Commercial Development for LaserShip. “Having our new facility in South Brunswick, New Jersey, fully up-and-running this month will help us meet growing e-commerce delivery demand, just in time for the holiday rush. We’re also looking forward to welcoming more than 100 employees to our incredible, and growing, team.”
The new, state-of-the-art 300,000+ sq. ft. facility will have the ability to sort more than 20,000 packages per hour and is expected to be fully operational this month.
The South Brunswick facility will be LaserShip’s 62nd shipping centre, and the 3rd in New Jersey, with additional centers in Paulsboro and Belleville.
LaserShip anticipates hiring more than 100 full-time employees within the next month; available jobs include Freight Coordinators (full and part time), Area Leads, Supervisors, Dispatchers and Sort Managers.
