Belgian Post International earns IPC Certificate of Excellence

Belgian Post CEO Johnny Thijs has been presented with a Certificate of Excellence by International Post Corporation President and CEO Georges Clermont, for Belgian Post International’s sorting centre at Brussels Airport.

This certificate is awarded exclusively to international sorting centres that achieve exceptional quality in their management of inbound and outbound international priority mail. By investing in the development of its employees and the modernisation of its infrastructure, Belgian Post International has proven that it continues to prepare for the future by targeting excellence in the management and handling of international mail.

‘This prestigious award symbolises the constant efforts of Belgian Post and its personnel to improve quality,’ says Belgian Post CEO Johnny Thijs. ‘It is through the quality of our services and the quality of our relationship with our customers that we distinguish ourselves from our competitors. Belgian Post offers high-quality services and its performance has advanced strongly. But we have to continue to improve and to meet the expectations of our customers better. We will succeed by placing the customer above everything else.’

‘The quality of international services is a very long logistical chain and as with all chains it depends on the strength of each link. The Brussels Airport Office of Exchange is without doubt a very solid link. Thanks to this example, which it is our job to bring to everyone’s attention, the postal network will move forward.’, says IPC President and CEO Georges Clermont.
