Prices: Poste Italiane unchanged until end of year
Poste Italiane, the Italian Post Offices, “aware of the government’s politics as to the buying power,” offers a new on-line payment service for the vehicle taxes without any supplement commission, until the end of the year. Poste Italiane is also engaged in maintaining the prices of all services unchanged, says an annotation from Poste Italiane spread with reference to the news appeared in the press. Poste Italiane, explains the annotation, has launched the new vehicle tax on-line payment service as part of the development of the e-government strategy to simplify the citizens’ and companies’ access to public service. The service is above all addressed to professional operators and will make the payment of vehicle taxes more simple through the possibility to carry out transactions on-line, instead of on the paper as today, to eliminate the risk of fraud and to give information in real time to all users. To realize this new service, Poste Italiane has implemented a system for the managing of payments through the creation of an advanced technologic infrastructure equipped with important security systems. With this new service, professional operators and private citizens will be able to use new channels of payment, as an alternative to the 14,000 Post Offices, like the internet site www.ilportaledellautomobilista.it, in which it is possible to pay through internet, and the self-service counters installed at the provincial offices of the Ministry.
