Aramex Australia: Logistics is going to be crucial to a successful recovery for Australia

As restrictions begin to ease,  Aramex Australia says the network is ready to meet the expected increase in demand and help businesses and the Australian economy get back on track.

CEO of Aramex Australia Peter Lipinski  said: “With relaxation of restrictions to be discussed at the National Cabinet meeting on Friday, we know many businesses are preparing to reopen their doors and get back to work,”

“Logistics is going to be crucial to a successful recovery for Australia.”

“As retail, hospitality venues and other businesses begin to reopen, we expect to see a significant spike in delivery across the nation.”

“Our national and international Aramex network is fully operational. We are ready to meet the increase in demand as Australia commences it’s road to recovery,” says Peter.

The Aramex Australia business has reported a record increase in deliveries in recent months with over 30% more than this time last year.

“Our 800 plus Courier Franchisees delivering across 28 regional franchise networks, have adapted to the new landscape in recent months and have been going above and beyond every day to deliver the goods that Australians need during these challenging times,” adds Peter.

“Our Couriers have been there for customers throughout the challenging social distancing measures and we look forward to continuing to support our customers in the next stage of recovery,” adds Peter Lipinski.
