Transplus Ltd expands its parcel facility in Andover
Transplus Ltd (a member of The APC network), has opened a new operational parcel depot in Andover, not far from its previous site. The new facility provides 25% more operational capacity and supports the increase in employed drivers, also up by 25%.
This increased space will allow the company to continue its overnight parcel collection and delivery service offerings to local businesses; particularly its specialist fragile, security and liquid services, enabling local SMES to make use of its national network capabilities.
Vinny Hughes, Director at Transplus Ltd, said: “Our new depot allows us to continue to serve our customers across the Andover and Sailsbury communities when SMEs continue to be of great value and importance. We pride ourselves on our strong relationships with local customers and are committed to supporting businesses that work tirelessly to keep the region’s entrepreneurial spirit alive.”
Jonathan Smith, Chief Executive at APC Overnight, said: “The new, larger depot will allow Transplus Ltd, a long standing member of The APC family, to continue to grow its relationships with SMEs across Hampshire. The ongoing national crisis has highlighted the strength and resilience of SMEs, and the sustained hard work of our colleagues at Transplus Ltd has enabled many local SMEs to continue to develop and thrive. We look forward to watching Transplus Ltd expand and support SMEs across Hampshire and the UK.”
