DPD Poland joins the SwipBox parcel locker network in Poland

The SwipBox parcel locker network in Poland just became even more convenient for end users by introducing DPD to the network. This leading logistics provider will now be delivering parcels through the Polish parcel lockers

DPD Poland, the leading logistics provider on the Polish market, is now a part of the well-stablished, open parcel locker network in Poland. This means that it is now possible for Polish end users to pick up parcels from three different logistics providers in the same parcel locker network, creating further flexibility and options.

Michal Czechowski, Managing Director of SwipBox Poland, commented: “The agreement with DPD Poland is another milestone for our parcel locker network in Poland. We believe that parcel lockers open to all logistics players on the market provide the ultimate convenience for end users. We see great demand for this type of service in general, and are delighted to welcome a leading brand such as DPD to our network in Poland.”

The Polish network was rolled out in 2018 with DHL as the first carrier delivering through the network. In 2019, SwipBox welcomed Poczta Polska, and now the network is further strengthened with DPD Poland.

Rafał Nawłoka, CEO of DPD Poland, said: “These automatic parcel machines complement the DPD pickup network and make the DPD last mile service even more flexible. We have successfully tested the SwipBox lockers, which increase the efficiency of our collection network and are delighted that they can already be used by the inhabitants of the biggest cities in Poland.”

The parcel lockers can be found at several locations across Poland, including post offices and retail stores such as Biedronka and Carrefour. The network consists of SwipBox’ Classic parcel lockers, which are also being operated in many other countries worldwide such as Finland, Australia and Denmark.
