2006 good for Italy Poste Italiane listing – Chairman
According to Vittorio Mincato, chairman of Italy’s state-owned postal services company Poste Italiane, 2006 is likely to be a good year for Poste Italine’s listing on the Italian stock exchange, it was reported on June 28, 2005.
Mincato spoke at a meeting in Vicenza, northern Italy. Minacto said that he was working on a reorganisation in the company, which would lead to its listing, but not in the near future.
According to Mincato, Italian oil and gas company Eni SpA needed three years to be listed on the stock exchange after its transforming into a joint stock company.
Mincato added that the company managers had to be careful with the listing of the company in order to satisfy the future shareholders in Poste Italiane.
The financial results of the company are very good, Mincato said.
