TPG Post targets digital market leadership

TPG Post, a division of Dutch mail and logistics company TNT NV, aims, besides its leadership on the regular mail provision market, also at a leading position on the digital market, a local financial daily said on November 28, 2005.

TPG Post has signed an agreement with local bank Rabobank for provision of digital payment traffic services to the bank. The two companies presented today in Amsterdam the central digital mailbox NotaBox, developed to serve their cooperation. Via the NotaBox, customers of Rabobank’s online banking division Rabo Internetbankieren will be able to receive, handle and pay bills online as from January 1, 2006.

TPG Post is currently negotiating with banks ABN AMRO and ING over the establishment of similar services.
