Business Is flourishing for Portuguese Post CTT

The state owned Portuguese mail service provider CTT Correios de Portugal would like to generate sales of EUR 175 million in the express mail sector in 2006, according to its president Luis Nazare. CTT took over the Spanish CEP company Tourline Express about a year ago.
Tourline posted a turnover of EUR 81 million in the last financial year. This was over 10% more than CTT’s CEP subsidiary CTT Expresso, which recorded sales of EUR 70.2million in 2004. CTT has concerned about 40% of the market in the Portuguese CEP sector.
