Finland Post, Hong Kong's MultiFreight in Cargo Transport Deal

Finland Post said on January 25, 2006 it signed an agent contract with Hong Kong’s company MultiFreight (H.K.) Ltd, under which MultiFreight will provide sea and air cargo services between Finland and China.

The agreement strengthens Finland Post’s position in Finland as a provider of international cargo and freight forwarding services, the company said.

Hankyu Express manages Finland Post’s transports in the remainder of the Asian countries.

Finland Post’s own cargo transport network, operated by its Danish subsidiary Combifragt Group, covers all of Europe, while global logistics services are operated by local partners.

Finland Post is divided into messaging, information logistics and logistics business units.
