Palletline in index survey

Palletline is researching the economic confidence of its network.
MD Glyn Jones tells Motor Transport that members have been responding to questions from Andrew Lester & Associates to form a ‘Business Confidence Index’ for road haulage, which will also indicate the economic strength of the country as a whole. ‘We hope to build up substantial trend data,’ Jones says.
Palletline says it has seen a 2% growth in volume since the October launch of PalletPlus, which offers discounted hub fees for consignments of four to ten pallets.
