Palletline profits are ‘strong and sustainable’

Palletline has reported a pre-tax profit of just under £500,000 for the six months ending December 31,2005. Its unaudited turnover was £4.2m.
Palletline’s managing director Glyn Jones says: ‘We are particularly pleased to see this return to strong and sustainable profits after a tough last year.
“We have radically reduced our cost base by consolidating operations into our extended Tyburn Road site. Throughput has now begun to improve and there are signs that the performance we have seen in the first half of the year will be replicated in the second half.”
Palletline has 58 member companies across the UK.
