Wyndeham in logistics deal with DHL

Wyndeham Press Group has appointed DHL Freight and Contract Logistics (UK) to provide transport distribution and managed logistics.

Under the terms of the three-year, multi-million-pound deal, DHL will supply Wyndeham with freight services, SameDay and NextDay parcel services, and NextDay pallet deliveries.

Wyndeham Press Group chief operating officer Roy Kingston said: “DHL is very experienced in moving time-sensitive material and is flexible enough to ensure we meet the changing requirements of our customers.”

A core fleet of 44-tonne tractor units and trailers plus a number of rigid vehicles will be strategically placed across Wyndeham’s print sites.

A full livery service will complement the partnership, initially serving the firm’s key offset sites, Wyndeham Heron and Wyndeham Impact, in addition to its commercial sheetfed site, Wyndeham Westway. The service will gradually be rolled out across the other sites in the group.
